Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the onlyacute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.
Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.
We collaborate with other valuable partners, including three Healthwatch organisations, nine voluntary and community sector organisations and three top tier local authorities, with seven district, borough and city councils, as well as our local universities.
Here is an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an evening Housekeeper. The hours will be three hours every evening from monday to friday, excluding bank holidays.
You will work as an integral part of the ward team and be responsible for the coordination of all patient facilities and services in the ward. The main priority will be to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for all service users.
The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning and minor maintenance, together with other specific tasks to meet individual patients needs, as determined by the ward manager.
You will be required to work closely with contractors and support services and departments. They will monitor quality standards and rectify deficiencies.Your will also be responsible for the ordering and storage of ward supplies.
