Founded on trust, care, and reliability, we’re more than a service provider—we’re a fully embedded partner in our clients’ operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is for a technically strong Air conditioning Biased Engineering Supervisor to lead and support a team of engineers responsible for delivering planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and small works projects across air conditioning systems.

You will act as the primary escalation point for technical issues, oversee compliance and internal standards, and ensure operational readiness through effective rota and resource planning.

This is a hybrid supervisory role, typically split between office-based days (focused on scheduling, compliance, engineer support, and performance oversight) and field-based days (conducting site supervision, audits, including hands-on support as required).

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WITHIN YOUR SPECIFIED AREA
  • Supervise and support engineers delivering AC and Refrigeration PPM and reactive maintenance.
  • Provide technical leadership for maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair, and replacement of Split/Multi Splits, VRV/VRF, Heat Pumps, and Chiller Systems.
  • Ensure strict compliance with FGas regulations maintaining compliance and record-keeping, refrigerant handling, environmental legislation, H&S legislation, Permit to Work (PTW) procedures, and other statutory requirements.
  • Manage and maintain the engineering rota, ensuring adequate cover for planned work and reactive callouts (including standby or out of hours duty as required).
  • Supervise onsite activities, ensuring safe working practices, quality standards, and technical integrity.
  • Oversee and deliver small works and upgrades, installations, system replacements, refrigerant tracking, and efficiency improvements.
  • Work alongside internal teams to maintain accurate records within the CAFM system, service history, maintenance tasks, compliance checks, and refrigerant usage.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, technical coaching, and regulatory updates (FGas, safe handling, environmental guidance) to ensure continuous team competence.
  • Support multiskilled engineers with non AC support tasks when operational needs require.
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to manage expectations, resolve escalations, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Support line management with performance monitoring, training needs identification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as an Appointed Person / Responsible Person for Technical Disciplines, as required.
  • There will be an element of National travel as and when required.
  • Flexible on base location
