Hours - 35 Hrs Per Week

Salary £35,019.00 - £49,767.00 (FTE)

Contract End Date 31st July 2025

Employer Pension Contribution 28.68% (£10,043.44 - £14,273.17 FTE)

The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Employability & Vocational Studies Lecturer to join the Academic team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.

About You
  • You are a dynamic and supportive educator with a passion for helping learners develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in work and life. You understand the importance of employability and vocational pathways and can deliver engaging, practical lessons that prepare students for real-world challenges. Your approach is flexible and inclusive, ensuring every learner feels valued and motivated to achieve their goals. Ideally, you hold a recognised teaching qualification and have experience in employability or vocational education, but above all, you bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a commitment to empowering learners.

About the Role

As an Employability & Vocational Studies Lecturer, you will design and deliver high-quality teaching that equips learners with essential workplace skills and knowledge. Your role will involve creating interactive and relevant learning experiences that build confidence, communication, and problem-solving abilities, alongside vocational competencies. You will work closely with learners to support progression into employment, further education, or training, while contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
