Job Summary

Our client is a well‑established M&E contractor who needs an Electrical Supervisor to join their site team located in the North East. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you would be involved in all aspects of the site’s requirements, operating within a supportive team environment. You will be exposed to a wide variety of local projects across various sectors including Commercial, Education and Healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise electricians and subcontractors, schedule daily activities, and coordinate with other site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Enforce all electrical safety rules and regulations on‑site, issue work permits, and ensure installations meet the required standards. This includes managing the process for electrical testing and certification.
  • Order, manage, and control the supply of materials and equipment needed for the electrical work.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including compliance documentation & test sheets.
  • Assist with the training and development of site personnel, including apprentices.
Requirements
  • SSSTS Certification
  • Trades background (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Experience in Building Services projects
