Elective Home Education Officer | 8783 | Secondment Opportunity / Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months (Maternity Cover) | 37 hours per week | £37,280 to £39,152 per annum | Grade I | Norfolk

About the Role

As a Home Education Officer, you will support the team in fulfilling Norfolk County Councils elective home education responsibilities. Your role will include:

Responsibilities
  • Conducting home visits to provide families with tailored information, advice, and guidance.
  • Supporting families in meeting their child’s educational needs, including any SEND requirements.

You’ll collaborate with a wide range of professionals including:

  • Team officers and education colleagues
  • Families and schools
  • Partner agencies and other Local Authorities

Together, we work to ensure children receive a suitable and supportive education at home.

Safeguarding Commitment

All applicants must have a clear understanding of safeguarding vulnerable groups (children, young people, and adults) and know how to raise concerns appropriately.
