At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our Group HQ team, working remotely but based in the UK.

This is a new position that has been created in the team so offers scope for growth, opportunity and making a real impact on our ESG commitment and strategy!

Place of work: Remote to the UK

Travel requirements: This role will require you to travel to all of our sites across the globe within the year at least once.

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 17:00, Friday 8:30 - 14:10

The Role

As an Environmental Sustainability Manager at Doncasters you will have environmental data analyst skills to lead and advance our ESG strategy across the globe! This role will play a central part in shaping our environmental performance, driving sustainability initiatives, and ensuring we meet evolving regulatory, customer and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of environmental management system.
  • Ensure compliance with Global (UK, US, Mexico, Germany, India and China) environmental legislation, regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor environmental performance (energy, water, waste, emissions) and identify opportunities for reduction and efficiency.
  • Develop ESG reporting aligned with relevant frameworks.
  • Drive sustainability related initiatives related to carbon reduction, resource efficiency, biodiversity and sustainable procurement.
  • Lead awareness campaigns and training to build ESG capability across the organisation.

To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience working in an environmental or sustainability role within an international manufacturing company. You will have knowledge and understanding of sustainability frameworks to lead on our journey and knowledge of a variety of ISO standards.

You will have communication skills to communicate with site EHS teams across the globe and the ability to influence cross functional teams. You will have data analysis skills to put data into insights creating a real impact.

Recruitment Process

We will begin conducting interviews the WC the 12th and 19th of January, this will be a 2-stage process, both on teams.
