Your primary responsibilities will include delivering high quality lessons within a workshop environment. You will be required to design and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience and ensure that students are well-prepared for a career in the engineering sector.Overall, this role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for engineering education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, industry partners, and the broader community.1. Plan and deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in fabrication and welding within a workshop environment2. Develop effective schemes of work, lesson plans and practical learning resources3. Assess learner work, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate progress records4. Set and monitor SMART targets to support learner achievement and progression5. Motivate and support FE learners to develop practical skills, knowledge and employability6. Carry out internal verification/moderation and contribute to quality improvement7. Participate in course promotion, recruitment activities and examination processes8.
