SHIFTS: DAYS & NIGHT shifts (From: 6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am)

LOCATION: Knottingley WF11

This role is a Temporary role STARTING ASAP!!

HRGO Recruitment are recruiting for waste picking operative to work in a busy Waste Plant within the Knottingley WF11 area.

As a Recycling Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking and sorting refuse for recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sorting Waste: Manually pick and sort recyclable materials from a moving conveyor belt.
• Quality Control: Ensure non-recyclable materials are removed and sorted correctly.
• Equipment Operation: Operate machinery to compact and bale recyclable materials.
• Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on recycling equipment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of materials sorted and processed.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow.
