Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role within a large Manufacturing/Construction business.
• Member of IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
• Full driving licence essential for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Implement EHS programs across Blackburn and Preston facilities.
• Communicate EHS matters to the Senior Management Team.
• Develop and maintain Health & Safety culture among employees.

Skills

Knowledge of ISO: 45001 and ISO: 14001 standards

Communication skills with sub-contractors

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to advise on EHS issues

Education

Relevant degree in Environmental Health & Safety
