You’ll ensure our cash and debt management runs smoothly and in line with governance and control processes. You’ll also support wider Treasury activities and contribute to ad-hoc projects and reporting**What you will be responsible for:*** Monitoring bank positions to ensure sufficient cleared funds for payments and obligations.* Creating and processing intercompany and external payments.* Minimising idle balances and maximising returns on cash through making investments.* Maintaining up-to-date banking and dealing mandates.* Documenting policies and procedures to ensure auditability and compliance.* Managing queries from banks, advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders.**What you’ll bring to the role:*****Essential**** Experience in cash management operations and processes, or demonstrable analytical skills gained in a non-treasury environment.* Strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail.* Excellent customer service and communication skills.* A background in finance, treasury, or similar roles (e.g., Treasury Assistant, Cash Manager, Analyst).***Desirable**** Qualification from the ACT or a willingness to study towards one.**About SW**Southern Water is at the forefront of transforming Britain’s water industry, investing significantly to enhance resilience, sustainability, and service excellence.
