# Practice Nurse - Bank## Job IntroductionPractice Nurse - Bank ASalary: £23.01 per hour Location: Asylum Assessment Service, Birley Court Contract: Bank Shifts: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday What will you be doing * Providing specialist knowledge and skills in general practice nursing.* Deliver screening and advisory interventions in line with care plans and pathway guidance, including signposting or referral for physical and mental health needs.* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care ensuring clear channels of communication exist between clinical, administration and community teams.* Supervise and mentor the general practice nursing team and provide an effective learning environment for staff and students in the wider team.* Provide assessment, treatment, screening and health education services and advice in accordance with set protocols, guidelines and NMC Code of conduct.* Ensure accurate, comprehensive records of all consultations and treatments are documented.* Follow infection control policies and keep up to date with policies.* Responsible for treatment rooms supplies and equipment.* Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe, free from hazards and conform to health, safety and security legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines.
