A leading highways service provider in the UK is offering an opportunity for an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor. The role involves providing technical and administrative support to the Commercial Team, while working closely with operational teams and subcontractors. You will gain hands-on experience in cost control, estimating, and contract administration. The position also supports flexible working arrangements to help balance work and home life, making it suitable for various working patterns.
The Apprentice Quantity Surveyor will provide technical and administrative support to the Commercial Team on the Cheshire East Highways Contract. Working closely with operational teams and subcontractors, the role offers hands‑on experience and a strong introduction to the commercial functions of a highways contract. Over time, you will develop your skills and understanding in areas such as cost control, estimating, pricing, and the compilation of target costs.
