Job description
What You’ll Do

You will grow strategic eCommerce partnerships that inspire Avalara's revenue growth and strengthen our position across Europe's digital commerce landscape. Working with the Strategic Alliances, Sales, and Marketing teams, you'll design and build joint go-to-market initiatives that generate qualified opportunities and deliver revenue for Avalara. You will influence the expanding Avalara's presence within leading eCommerce ecosystems, creating long-term value for both partners and the wider business.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be
  • Recruit and grow eCommerce-focused partners across EMEA to expand Avalara's market presence and accelerate revenue growth
  • Support and complete regional go-to-market strategies with partners, build relationships at all levels to lead qualified sales pipeline
  • Build executive understanding and commitment on important partnership goals, securing strategic engagement from leadership across partner organisations
  • You will be the primary contact to increase partner knowledge through proactive enablement, training, and effective management of sales, product, and commission-related enquiries
  • You will be the liaison between Avalara's sales teams and partners to foster collaboration, increase bookings, and exceed territory performance goals
  • Manage KPIs and performance metrics, identifying opportunities to enhance partner productivity and overall programme success
  • You will lead partner marketing projects in collaboration with Partner Marketing Managers, creating impactful joint campaigns with strategic eCommerce and technology partners
  • Represent Avalara at industry events, conferences, and partner forums to promote our brand and strengthen relationships across the EMEA ecosystem
  • Some regional and international travel will be required
  • You will report
  • This is a hybrid role and you would need to travel to the Brighton or London office.
What You'll Need to be Successful
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must have 5+ years of partner/channel experience
  • You will have experience building partner marketing activities to and through the channel
  • Possess a solid sales foundation with an optimistic personality
  • Engage at the C-Suite and Executive level both internally and externally
  • You will be Flexible with the ability take ownership and an analytical, results orientated approach to all tasks and projects
  • You will have experience with their work and an ability to apply that passion to both daily tasks and larger, longer term projects
  • Competency with Salesforce, Office Suite, Atlassian/Jira a benefit
  • You will be collaborative and team-oriented attitude
  • Problem-solving capabilities
  • Additional languages desirable
