Job summary

A leading cultural institution in Greater London is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to enhance its cyber security capabilities. This full-time, hybrid position involves monitoring for security threats, managing vulnerabilities, and supporting incident responses. The successful candidate will need a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Windows client, networking & Wi-Fi, end-point protection, and firewalls.
  • Ideally, understanding of Windows servers, IAAS, PAAS (especially Azure) and web-hosting technology.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and detect potential cyber security breaches using configured tools and scripts.
  • Document incident response actions and maintain accurate logs.
  • Assess and communicate critical vulnerabilities to technical teams.
  • Respond to alerts within defined SLAs and participate in post-incident reviews.
