Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and well-qualified Senior School Nurse to join the school from September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day nursing care in the Medical Centre, including the administration of first aid and support for the physical needs of pupils.
• Assist members of staff as required and offer emotional support to pupils in need.
• Work as part of a team to support the welfare of students and contribute to a safe school environment.

Terms and conditions

• This is a full-time during term-time role, including the week start and end of each term.
• Contractual working hours are 8.00am–6.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am–5.00pm on Friday to ensure cover of the Medical Room.
• Additional hours may be required for attendance at parent meetings or seminars in the early evening, and, where necessary, communications outside of hours to ensure pupil welfare.
• The salary will be commensurate with the post and depend on qualifications and experience.
