Are you a compassionate and skilled healthcare professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students? We are seeking an experienced School Nurse to join our dedicated team.

Healthcare Provision and Supervision

• Manage and supervise Health Centre, providing first aid and healthcare to students.
• Care for sick students, coordinating further care with parents or hospitals as required.

Health Monitoring and Management

• Review, monitor, and accurately record the health status of new boarders and day pupils in line with the national Child Health Programme.
• Develop and implement in‑school care plans for pupils with long‑term conditions or additional health requirements.
• Ensure all student medical records are kept up‑to‑date and accurately maintained in the school database.
• Advise on the development of health‑related policies and support emergency planning, including outbreak responses.

Safeguarding and Welfare

• Collaborate with the safeguarding team to identify and support pupils at risk of abuse or neglect.
• Assist the wellbeing hub in implementing effective welfare plans for vulnerable pupils.
• Monitor student health patterns and refer concerns to the appropriate teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Registered Nurse with valid qualifications and licensing.
• Proven experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and healthcare confidentiality.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and external health agencies.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Term Time + 5 Weeks)
