This role ensures operational integrity, drives process transformation, and provides guidance and mentoring to junior analysts, embedding best practice across the team.**Principal Accountabilities****Reconciliation Process Design & Enhancement*** Review current reconciliation frameworks and simplify, standardise, and strengthen controls.* Develop clear documentation and workflows that reduce complexity and improve transparency.* Implement automation and exception management tools where possible.**Operational Delivery*** Lead daily and monthly reconciliations for FAL custody accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.* Investigate and resolve breaks promptly; escalate systemic issues with actionable recommendations.**Governance & Compliance*** Ensure reconciliations meet internal control standards and regulatory requirements (FCA/PRA, CASS concepts).* Maintain auditable evidence and support internal/external audits.**Mentoring & Team Development*** Act as a subject-matter expert for reconciliation best practice.* Coach and guide junior analysts, building capability and confidence within the team.**Stakeholder Engagement*** Work closely with the Head of Member Relations to align reconciliation improvements with strategic objectives.* Communicate clearly with suppliers and internal teams on reconciliation outcomes and issues.**Skills*** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to simplify complex processes and design robust controls.* Excellent communication and mentoring capability.* High attention to detail and risk awareness.Diversity and inclusion are a focus for us – Lloyd’s aim is to build a diverse, inclusive environment that reflects the global markets we work in.
