This post will lead the Council’s waste collection and waste disposal functions including managing a portfolio of assets including a Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) plant, household waste recycling centres and transfer stations.The role will be responsible for the future development of the waste, recycling and re-use strategy linking directly to local and national policies and priorities such as the circular economy and zero land landfill and to drive forward the Councils ambitions in relation to climate change relating to waste services.The Senior Waste Services Manager will directly manage service managers who have operational responsibility for waste collection and waste disposal.
