A leading NHS Trust in the United Kingdom is looking for a Senior Therapist in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. The role involves providing and developing CBT interventions for patients with co-morbid conditions. Responsibilities include clinical supervision of staff, assessment of psychological conditions, and ensuring strong interdisciplinary collaboration. Candidates must have a PgDip in CBT, BABCP accreditation, and 2 years of experience as a therapist. This position offers significant career development and a strong commitment to community support.
As a senior therapist in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, with post qualification training and experience in Long Term Physical Conditions (LTC’s) / Medically Unexplained Symptoms (MUS), the post-holder is an autonomous clinical practitioner, responsible for their own actions within the context of professional and BABCP guidelines and the overall framework of the service’s objectives and policies.
Provide and develop CBT interventions within talking therapies in Staffordshire and Stoke On Trent, for patients with co‑morbid LTCs/MUS, in consultation with the Clinical Director and Deputy Clinical Director.
