- React swiftly to breaking news and major developments, coordinating with UK and international teams to deliver informed coverage.
- Collaborate with on-air talent to shape interviews, monologues, debates and panel discussions.
- Oversee the integration of live reports, guest interviews, and video packages into the show’s rundown.

- Outstanding scriptwriting and sub-editing skills.
- Confidence in handling breaking news and rapidly evolving stories.
- Experience working with studio production teams, technical crews, and on-air talent in a live broadcast setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire junior staff.
- Flexibility to work late hours (live evening broadcast) and weekends.
Desirable
