Overview

Your new company: We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking building services consultancy based in the historic town of Shrewsbury. Known for their collaborative approach and technical excellence, they deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions across a broad range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and heritage.

Responsibilities

• Design and specification of electrical building services systems, including LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security systems, and more
• Manage projects, teams, and client relationships to ensure delivery on time and within budget
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
• Provide strategic input on business development and operational improvement
• Prepare fee proposals and contribute to bids and tenders
• Work closely with Directors on succession planning and growth strategies

What you’ll need to succeed

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Chartered (or working towards Chartership) with CIBSE or IET
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in building services consultancy
• Strong technical skills with a proven track record in project delivery
• Excellent communication and leadership qualities
• Ambitious and ready to take the next step toward Associate Director
