What you will do
  • Lead and manage the Next Steps Team within Children’s Services to ensure exceptional standards of service and care.
  • Set strategic direction and implement policies to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Supervise and support team members, fostering an environment of professional growth and collaboration.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and manage budgets effectively.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to ensure the integration of services that meet the needs of children and young people.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory obligations and national best practice standards.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Recent managerial experience, ideally as a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager.
  • Proven frontline experience in Children’s Services as a Manager.
