About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and inspiring Computer Science, Robotics and AI Specialist to teach pupils from Year 1 to Year 8, fostering creativity, logical thinking and problem‑solving through coding, robotics and artificial intelligence. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a future‑facing digital curriculum that emphasises the collaboration between humans and intelligent technologies. You will also contribute to curriculum development, run clubs and enrichment activities, and support the wider life of the school, including trips, events and cross‑curricular initiatives.

Who We Are Looking For
  • Essential:
    • A degree in computer science, engineering or a closely related subject.
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
    • Experience teaching computing and/or robotics at Key Stage 2 and/or Key Stage 3 level.
    • A passion for teaching technology in a way that centres human creativity, collaboration and responsibility.
    • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
    • A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience teaching or developing AI‑related content, particularly with an ethical or human‑centred approach.
    • Experience preparing pupils for senior school entrance exams and scholarships in computing or related subjects.
    • Experience within an independent or preparatory school.
    • Enthusiasm for enrichment activities, competitions and the wider life of the school.
    • Knowledge of platforms such as Scratch, Python, micro:bit, LEGO robotics or similar.
