Job description

X-Ray Field Service Engineer – You deliver technical support, maintenance, and repair services for Agfa Radiology’s state‑of‑the‑art imaging products. You will travel to customer sites and be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment to ensure proper functioning and optimal performance of our products. You act as a liaison between Agfa Radiology Solutions and our customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely resolution of technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Work in cooperation with Agfa’s Shared Service Centre to carry out service, maintenance, updates and installation of products.
• Maintain all test equipment, tools and company property in good working order and process spare parts in accordance with policy.
• Expand your knowledge and that of colleagues and customers, ensuring continuous development and improvement.
• Build relationships and maintain teamwork with all internal and external partners.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and company’s policies and work procedures.
• Identify and elevate situations impacting customer satisfaction and/or contractual obligations.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the organisation to ensure achievement of goals.

Experience and Qualifications

• HNC/D degree in electromechanics, electronics, computer science or engineering, or equivalent extensive experience.
• Previous field service experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong IT, Microsoft Office and networking infrastructure skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
