The role ensures compliance with company standards and contractual requirements. The position will be primarily located in the South East (Portsmouth) area with the occasional requirement to travel to the South West (Plymouth) & North (Scotland)**Skills and Experience****Requirements*** Recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Qualification* IOSH Managing safely certificate.* Experience and a good working knowledge of MS Office applications* Experience in using Computer based maintenance management systems* Experience in fault finding and reporting in a engineering environment* Eligible to work in the UK and must possess (or be able to obtain) SC level security clearance.**Desirable*** Building & Leading small teams* Good customer relation skills* Energy, drive, and enthusiasm for continuous improvement* Solutions-focused and collaborative in problem-solving.* Experience of applying engineering/electrical principles practically in a military technical environment.**Responsibilities*** Manage and lead a small mechanical and electrical defect rectification/maintenance team.* Diagnose basic defect and maintenance requirements and implement a rectification plan.
