Job summary

A leading vehicle company in Bathgate is looking for a proactive Parts Manager to oversee operations at their Loanhead and Bathgate locations. The ideal candidate will be an established manager or senior Parts Advisor, focusing on customer excellence and leading a high-performing team. Responsibilities include managing parts operations, maintaining supplier relationships, and growing sales through exceptional service. Experience in a commercial vehicle dealership, particularly with DAF & Truck & Trailer knowledge, is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial vehicle franchised dealership at a supervisory or management level.
• Knowledge of DAF and Truck & Trailer is advantageous.
• Proven track record in stock management.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day parts operations to support both workshop and external customers.
• Mentor and motivate the parts team to cultivate a high-performing environment.
• Manage stock levels efficiently and ensure accurate departmental administration.
• Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and external partners.

What we are looking for

• Experience in a commercial vehicle franchised dealership (Supervisor or Management level), DAF & Truck& Trailer knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in stock management software (Keyloop/Kerridge preferred).
• Excellent communication skills with a customer - focused mindset.
