Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering development initiatives that span DIBT Canada and multiple external DIBT business units. This role supports the project from initial conception and planning through execution, release, and post-delivery review, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver a shared B2B digital platform encompassing eCommerce, customer management and related enablement capabilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of development initiatives from initiation through execution to release ensuring delivery within scope, schedule and budget.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans that account for cross-functional and external dependencies.
  • Collaborate with the product manager, engineering teams, business stakeholders and external partners including contracted organizations and independent contractors to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria
  • Ability to gather, document, and validate business requirements from internal and external stakeholders, and translate them into clear, actionable tasks for technical teams.
  • Ensure project timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables are clearly defined, communicated, and managed.
  • Facilitate cross-organizations meetings using agile ceremonies as appropriate (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews)
  • Track project progress and communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation and provide clear, consistent status reporting to internal leadership and external stakeholders
  • Partner with internal teams to align on training, resources, and enablement needs
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending best practices
  • Maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and status reports
  • Adapt project management approach (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall) based on project needs and organizational standards
Required Skills and Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience working with B2B digital platforms, eCommerce solutions, or systems.
  • Understanding of customer account management concepts is preferred
  • Experience managing a project that spans multiple business units and cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing project budgets, forecasting costs, and performing job costing to ensure financial accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal teams and external business partners with strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, risks, and dependencies in a fast-paced enterprise environment
  • Hands‑on experience Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence).
  • Certification in Agile or Scrum (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) is a plus.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
Work Location

Work Location: In-office environment that is currently 3 days per week
City: Surrey
Type: Full-time, Temporary - 1 year
Salary: 95,000 - 125,000CAD
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
