Overview

Job Type: Permanent | Part-time position with 25 hours per week. Salary £13.66 per hour, full-time equivalent £24,973. Location: National Museum of Flight, East Fortune Airfield, East Lothian. Seasonal appointment from 1 April to 31 October.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include customer service, programme promotion and visitor assistance. You are the first person visitors will see, front of house, meeting and greeting visitors and helping them have a great experience. From promoting public programmes and events to providing site tours and information about collections and stories, every day offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Be proactive, approachable and visitor-focused, ready to offer assistance, directions and exceptional customer service
  • Promote and support a broad range of public programmes, exhibitions and events
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the Museum’s collections, displays, objects, stories and activities
