A leading subsea engineering company located in Wallsend is seeking a candidate to join their Innovation team. The role involves constructing prototype subsea robots and their sub-assemblies, alongside creating bespoke test rigs to prove operation and reliability. The ideal applicant should hold an HNC in an electrical subject and possess more than 5 years of industrial experience. A proactive team player capable of working under pressure is essential for this full-time position.
Location: Soil Machine Dynamics, Davy Bank, Wallsend, Tyne and Wear, NE28 6UZ
Working within our Innovation team, you will be responsible for constructing prototype subsea robots and their associated sub-assemblies. You will also be involved in the construction of bespoke test rigs used to prove operation and reliability, and may be involved in testing of robots in the laboratory, test tank or offsite in open water.
For this role you will require an HNC in an electrical subject and +5 years industrial experience.
