The Workshop Welder (Technician) is responsible for the manufacturing, assembly and service of the company’s products as directed by the senior team. Ensure products conform, QA processes are followed, and safety is adhered to. Ensure individuals are trained on the appropriate product in order to deliver our products on time and in full.
You will need to be effective in communicating with others and efficient responding to feedback. Confident and approachable, you will mentor the junior members of the team.
You will have completed a recognised apprenticeship or training program in a technical discipline to a minimum of a Mechanical/Engineering/Welding (MIG) NVQ qualification (or equivalent nationally recognised qualification). Recognised proven skills in a mechanical discipline. Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Health and Safety within the work environment. A proven track record of designated discipline in a manufacturing/ service environment.
*This role is located at our Great Yarmouth, Norfolk location therefore, you will need to live within a commutable distance.
