We are looking to hire a Facilities and Maintenance Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Based at our facility in Great Yarmouth, the role involves assisting with facilities management and performing maintenance tasks, requiring adaptability to changing needs.

Duties & Main Responsibilities

1. Commitment to health and safety when performing tasks, ensuring safety is a top priority.
2. Perform general maintenance and repairs across the site.
3. Respond to immediate site needs and urgent repair requirements.
4. Carry out monthly compliance checks, such as water temperatures, emergency lighting, and assist with weekly fire alarm testing.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance inspections.
6. Regularly inspect the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
7. Perform gardening tasks and keep the yard clear of debris.
8. Ensure facilities stores are tidy and adequately stocked.
9. Use initiative to improve the efficiency and appearance of the facilities.
10. Perform any other tasks requested by the Facilities team.
