A local nursery school in Bristol is seeking a motivated Early Years SEND support worker to provide one-to-one support to children with additional needs. Filton Avenue Nursery School is a vibrant, inclusive setting in north Bristol, serving a rich and diverse community.

We provide high-quality early years education and care for children aged 2–5, along with a range of services for families with children from birth to five.

We are looking for a positive, creative and motivated Early years SEND support worker to join our team. If you enjoy building warm, authentic relationships and thrive as part of a collaborative team, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with children who have additional needs, offering caring one-to-one support throughout the nursery day. You will help them take part in play and learning activities, build confidence and independence, and feel happy and included within our nursery environment. Your role will include supporting their individual learning plan, helping with their care needs and ensuring they are safe, engaged and well supported in all aspects of nursery life.

About You

Experience working with young children for at least 2 years or Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)

Hours

We are recruiting for an additional post as afterschool club play worker, if we are interested in applying for both posts please state on your application form.
