Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience required.
• Experience in providing assessments and therapy programmes for children.
• Evidence of relevant postgraduate training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality assessments for children and young people.
• Provide therapy programmes, advice, and support.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with standards.
• Participate in service development and research projects.

Skills

Knowledge/training in ASD strategies and interventions

Demonstrable experience of working in the NHS

Clinical reasoning

Education

Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent

Health and Care Professions Council Licence to Practice
