Job description

We’ve already assembled some of the world’s top engineers & scientists and due to the success and growth of our product development activities, Envisics is now looking to invest in the talent of an Applications Software Engineer to support the development of complex tools for the calibration and measurement of AR-HUD products for in-house and production environments. The candidate will join an already established SW team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop new and enhance existing tools for calibration and measurements
• Develop image processing/machine vision algorithms for system calibration
• Develop EOL (End of line) tools in an automotive production environment

To Be Considered for This Role, We Will Be Looking For the Following:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in science or engineering discipline
• Proficiency in software development with Qt/QML/C++
• Good knowledge of multithreading and OOP (object-oriented programming)
• Experience with image processing (Open CV) is essential.
• Knowledge of computer vision (e.g. feature tracking)
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to learn fast and think out of the box
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Be able to work independently or as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience of Python, Matlab
• Experience of working with camera systems (live image acquisition and calibration) is desirable
