A cultural arts organization in Falkirk is seeking an experienced Musical Director for the production of ‘Hades Town Teen Edition’. Falkirk Youth Theatre (FYT) is run by Falkirk Council Arts team and exists to provide youth theatre activities in the Falkirk area. The group has a membership of 100 young people aged from 7 – 18 years. Throughout the year there 。
are a range of opportunities offered to members including skills workshops, musical theatre performances and devised theatre, with young people split into different age groups.
We are seeking to engage an experienced Musical Director to work on the production of ‘Hades Town Teen Edition’ with our senior group (Age 11-18). This is a freelance position for someone with proven experience and passion for working in Youth Theatre, and the ability to MD a main stage production whilst developing the skills and confidence of young people.
Sundays 2026, 1pm-4pm in Grangemouth Town Hall (unless otherwise stated).
Fee – Based on £30.00 per hour × 3 hours per week (11‑week term) £990.
Fee – Based on £30.00 per hour × 3 hours per week (7‑week term) £630.00.
Fee – Based on £30.00 per hour × 3 hours per week (2‑week term) £180.00.
Show Fee (Tues – Sun calls): You will be στισιlly at all of these rehearsals and performances.
Total Fee Payable: £2,500.00.
This is a freelance position. Postholders must be (or be willing to obtain) PVG Registration and maintain adequate Public Liability Insurance. Evidence of insurance, with coverage no less than £5,000,000 per claim, must be presented prior to commencing engagement.
