A community-focused organization in Leeds seeks a dedicated Community Dance Coordinator to assist in delivering and promoting youth and community dance programs. The role includes coordinating outreach efforts, engaging with families, and creating marketing content for social media. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and experience in community engagement. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly salary and a contract duration of 18 months, requiring 18.75 hours of work per week with a focus on fostering inclusivity.
To develop understanding and skills in community dance development through supporting Yorkshire Dance’sprogrammes.
Key responsibilities
Assistwith co-ordination,planningand delivery of all aspects of Yorkshire Dance’s Youth and Community programme, including outreach and development in local communities and the regional youth performance platform FRESH. This will include administrative tasks such as logging and tracking applications using Excel, contact management by using an online database, bookingstudiosand preparing contracts.
General duties applicable to all Yorkshire Dance contracted staff

Salary: £12.71per hour (Full time equivalentof£ 24,785 per annum)
Reporting: The postholder reports to the Youth &CommunitiesProducer
Pension: Where eligible, auto-enrolment in company pension scheme
Period of contract: This post is offered on an18monthfixed term contract fromApril2026 to November 2027.
Hours of work:18.75 hours(2.5 days)per weekincluding evening and weekend work asrequired(no overtime is payable, but time off in lieu may be given)
Annual Leave: 25 days plus statutory and bank holidayspro-ratato 12.5days pa
Right towork: The candidate would have to have the right to work in the UK to take up this role.
