Purpose

Under the management of the Delivery Supervisor, the Dispatcher will maximize fleet efficiency by scheduling and coordinating the delivery activities of drivers as trained and specified in the company’s Policies and Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.

Salary: $17.60 - $20.20/hr

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Saturday to Wednesday 12:30pm-9pm

Job Responsibilities

• Assign daily delivery of parcels and coordinate run schedules
• Communicate required maintenance and repairs of vehicle fleet
• Oversee pre/post trip vehicle inspections
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Report and elevate all delivery deficiencies to the appropriate department
• Ensure all delivery documentation is complete and submitted in a timely manner
• Learn and help out on a daily basis with Supplies and Equipment
• Use computer skills to create reports, and to monitor order and outs
• Willing to learn and work between two lines of business (Dispatching and Supplies and Equipment)

Qualifications

• Completion of high school
