Are you an experienced and proficient Estimator seeking a challenging and rewarding role? Link Contracting is looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic commercial team.

About Us:

Link Contracting is a national provider of high-quality refurbishment and fit-out projects across a diverse range of sectors, including retail, residential, leisure, education, and healthcare. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional results for our clients, with the majority of our projects valued between £50,000 and £150,000, up to a maximum project value of £750,000.

The Role:

As our Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects by accurately pricing and managing tender submissions. You will be responsible for:

Accurately estimating costs for refurbishment and fit-out projects.

Preparing detailed and competitive tender submissions.

Bidding for frameworks, including writing comprehensive Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs).

Delivering compelling presentations to potential clients.

Maintaining and updating cost databases and pricing schedules.

Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes.

Conducting site surveys and analysing project specifications.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, ideally within refurbishment and fit-out projects.
• Experience bidding for frameworks, including writing PQQs and delivering presentations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A valid UK driving license.
• A strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
• A pre-existing network of industry contacts is a bonus.
