A local educational authority in High Wycombe is seeking dedicated Class Teachers for multiple roles at Chiltern Wood School. Chiltern Wood School is a Special School currently supporting over 200 students ranging from ages 3 to 19 years, located across three sites in Cressex, Downley and Studley Green.

As Class Teacher the successful candidate will work directly with children with complex learning, social and sensory needs. In addition, will have a strong desire to work with a challenging and rewarding group of pupils, and understand how to build positive relationships with pupils, their families and supporting professionals. Communication, regulation and life skills are at the core of our curriculum.
Therapeutic interventions are fully immersed into class timetables and our key focus areas are communication, regulation and learning for life. We benefit from both our own and consultant occupational therapists and speech and language therapists. Our therapeutic team and other external professionals work closely with our teaching teams.
