A leading veterinary services provider in the UK is looking for a tax professional to handle IFRS tax reporting and compliance. You will manage tax risk, prepare Group reporting tax notes, and support project initiatives. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant or tax advisor with experience in corporate tax, effective communication, and a strong IT background. This role offers broad exposure across corporate tax, combining hands‑on responsibility for tax reporting, compliance, and value‑adding project work within a dynamic group environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in IFRS tax reporting and forecasting, work closely with finance teams and external auditors, support transfer pricing and Pillar II compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the tax function. We’re looking for a technically strong tax professional who can communicate clearly and effectively with both tax and non‑tax stakeholders.
The Tax Function strives to identify opportunities to improve tax processes as well as supporting the wider business projects. This includes involvement in transfer pricing advisory to the business, such as structuring pricing for group‑wide projects such as IT system roll‑out, global research projects, intra‑group debt pricing, and management recharges.
