We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Assistant to join our Sherwoodteam! Be a part of creating special escapes in one of the UK’s most iconic woodland locations, developing your skills while ensuring our cabins are beautifully prepared for every guest. Our cabins are dotted among the statuesque pines of Sherwood Forest, almost hidden from view. Here, where the legend of Robin Hood was born, you can immerse yourself in the great outdoors across 3,300 acres of magnificent woodland, a truly magical setting to work and grow.

About the Operations Assistant role:

Open all year round, our Operations Assistant plays a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience. Key responsibilities include:

• ➡️ Ensuring hot tubs are in perfect working order every day for our guests
• ➡️ Monitoring and recording water quality, and supporting with safe chemical adjustments
• ➡️ Completing general maintenance tasks, including using tools, fixing machinery and decorating (basic knowledge desirable)
• ➡️ Carrying out basic equipment checks and minor repairs, and reporting issues promptly
• ➡️ Delivering daily tasks efficiently and to a high standard
• ➡️ Providing friendly, professional customer service and supporting our Forest brand standards

Our ideal Operations Assistant will be a dynamic individual who applies a can‑do attitude to solve any issues that may arise on location. You will be a team player, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues. A love for the outdoors is essential as these tasks need completing rain or shine every day of the year.
