Job Title: Social Worker - ASYE

Salary: £33,699 - £35,412 per annum

Hours: 37 per week

Location: County Hall, Worcester

Team: Various Children’s Teams

The Role

We have Newly Qualified Social Worker vacancies across the different children’s social work teams here in Worcestershire. The vacancies are across the Family Front Door (Initial assessment teams), Locality (Child Protection and Care Proceedings) and Through Care (Children Looked After) teams. Vacancies will be discussed at interview to identify your preference and best match for your skills and experiences and in conjunction with where the vacancies are.

Starting Salary £33,699 rising to £35,412 at the end of your ASYE. You’ll move up the Children’s Social Worker pay scale.

• Protected caseload of a maximum of 12
• A designated Advanced Social Work Practitioner who will co-work cases with you as well as give individual reflective supervision sessions
• Protected development time – 10% of your week is given over to protected development time, as well as Action Learning Sessions
