Overview

Civil Enforcement Officer – Bromley - Full Time; 42.5 hours per week

Salary: £29,503.50 per annum rising to £32,708 from 1 November 2026

Responsibilities

• Patrol streets and council car parks, advise and uphold parking restrictions, and assist members of the public.
• Issue parking tickets as part of enforcing regulations, with a focus on creating a positive impact on the local neighbourhood rather than meeting targets.
• Report defects to street furniture (such as signs and road markings) and monitor for violations of civil laws.
• Provide a high level of customer service by giving the public useful knowledge and advice.
