As an Apprentice Maintenance Technician, you will learn the craft of both Electrician and Mechanical fitter, in this dual skilled role.
A key element of this role will be planned maintenance of all Welsh Water’s asset types including wastewater treatment works, or sewage pumping stations and combined sewer overflows.
Your college / training provider will be Bridgend College (Travel will be likely if role is based elsewhere. If it is the case that we deem the college not a realistic daily commute, accommodation will be provided).
What you’ll be learning:
A minimum of Grade B in GCSE Maths and Grade C in English and Science (or equivalent) is required and also working towards a driving licence if you haven’t already got one.
College / Training provider: Bridgend College
Length of Apprenticeship: 4 years
Qualification: Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering Techniques and PEO modules
