Job description

Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join us onsite at our Derby site. You will play an integral role in our supply chain for the UK; locating, picking and packing of customer orders according to customer specifications, assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock and completing cycle counts.

Day to day responsibilities

• Complete shipments by processing and picking orders.
• Enforcing inventory control by picking allocated lot numbers.
• Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping work areas befitting of a Medical Device manufacturer environment.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or using a forklift truck.
• Following procedures for Goods in stock.
• Operating a Reach truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely and in correct locations.
• Help to record accurate records both paper based and IT based.
• Complying with all health and safety requirements.
• Booking collections with external carriers.
• Carrying out stock and cycle counts.
• Using SAP for stock checks and other logistic functions.
