Job summary

A leading homeware retailer in Farnborough is looking for a Deputy Manager to drive store performance and ensure exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you will oversee stock processes and support the Store Coach. Responsibilities include managing a team of around 30, executing merchandising campaigns, and maintaining high stock integrity. Ideal candidates are retail experienced, commercially driven, and passionate about teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a management role within a retail setting.
• Ability to engage and lead a team effectively.
• Strong focus on stock management and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Trading the store to ensure strong sales growth through weekly activities.
• Ensuring customers have a great shopping experience.
• Engrain stock routines into colleagues to ensure high stock integrity.
• Lead by example to create an excellent culture and working environment.
• Manage a team of around 30 colleagues and 3 Team Leaders.
• Assist the Store Coach and assume full responsibility in their absence.
