Qualifications

  • NMC registration and experience in urgent care.
  • Experience in assessing and treating complex and acute conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions.
  • Provide urgent primary care and onward referrals as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.

Skills

First Level Registered Nurse (NMC)
Advanced Physical Assessment and Consultation Skills – Level 7
Injuries trained with experience in treating and managing minor injuries
Ability to assess, treat, and manage minor injuries and minor illnesses
Ability to see and treat all ages, including infants and babies
Non-Medical Prescribing – Level 7

Education

MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or Relevant ANP courses at level 7
Paediatric Course – Level 7
Minimum 1 year experience post level 7 qualifications in urgent care, primary care, or a hospital setting
