This is a significant and exciting opportunity for an experienced and values-driven leader to become Headteacher of St. Margaret’s Church of England Junior School at an important point in its journey. The school is a welcoming and nurturing Christian community with strong foundations, a clear sense of identity and a commitment to ensuring that every child is known, valued and supported to flourish.
The successful candidate will provide inspirational, strategic and operational leadership, shaping the future direction of the school while ensuring consistently high-quality provision for pupils across Key Stage 2. Working closely with staff, governors, families and the local church, the Headteacher will lead with integrity, compassion and ambition, embedding high expectations, inclusive practice and a strong culture of care throughout the life of the school.
As Headteacher, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the school, while benefiting from the professional challenge, guidance and collaboration offered through Medway Anglican Schools Trust. You will work in close partnership with the Trust CEO and Governing Body, contributing to shared priorities and Trust-wide development while retaining and strengthening the school’s distinctive Christian ethos and local identity.
This role offers the opportunity to build on existing strengths, further develop teaching and learning, and ensure pupils are exceptionally well prepared for the transition to secondary education.
