  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for Ops delivery team issues, working with Regional and Engineering Managers to resolve challenges.
  • Collaborating with the programme management office to ensure replacement projects that are allocated to operations are delivered efficiently within approved financial spends.
  • Process and Continuous Improvement:
  • Partner with Engineering Managers and the Performance Assurance team to implement and standardise improvement initiatives across regions and work types.
  • Drive digitisation efforts by enhancing operational teams\' data capture skills and ensuring accuracy of critical asset and job information.
Assurance and Compliance
  • Conduct primary assessment of field engineers\' competencies, collaborating with Team Managers and Engineering Managers to address skill gaps.
  • Oversee regional reinstatement activities, ensuring adherence to contractual and regulatory standards.
Stakeholder and Technical Support
  • Liaise with planning and scheduling teams to optimise street works, permits, and last-mile logistics for efficient operations.
  • Deliver expert technical support for complex repairs and specialised tasks requiring local knowledge or custom solutions.
  • Partner with Team Managers (Connections) and Project Managers (Risers) to enhance surveyor deployment and operational continuity.
What you’ll need

  • We seek an individual with strong operational knowledge and a proven track record in managing diverse teams and processes.
  • The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to lead and motivate teams effectively, manage performance, and resolve challenges with skill and efficiency.
