The Business Analyst will be responsible for all Business Analysis activity throughout theend to endproject lifecycle (pre and post investment)with a focus on initiatives within our COO Function.

• Responsible for all Business Analysis activity throughout theend to endproject lifecycle (pre and post investment)asrequired.
• Demonstrable evidenceundertaking business analysis onbusiness transformation and changeprojects involving Org Design, Operating Model, operational performance improvement, lean, and business systems deployment and change.
• Investigatebusiness requests for IT related change.Understandand articulatebusiness background, problem statement, solution expectations, businessvalueand priority / sequencingoutcomes
• Engagewith subject matter experts to understand all areas ofbusiness demanditems including,but not limited to,scope, budget, timeline, resource, risks, issues, businessimpactand benefit
• Map business processes, develop operational playbooksandidentifyopportunities to increase efficiencies and / or transform ways of working
• Engage with subject matter experts to capture,defineand prioritise businesshigh leveland detailed businessrequirements associated with the request for change(dependent on stage of project / workstream)
• Collaborate with Solution Design,CoE’sand Architecture toidentifyand recommendappropriatehigh-levelsolutions in line with strategic,operationaland technical roadmaps
• Manageinvestment approach and approval pathwayincluding any requiredprocurementactivity
• Create andmaintainkey documentation including, but not limited to, Business Outcome Statements, Cost Benefit Analysis, Project Proposals, High Level Requirements, ConceptualDesignand Investment Papers
• Plan andfacilitatebusiness workshops and meetings(internal and external).Createappropriate inputsand outputs to ensure achievement of desired results
• Perform any other business analysis activity associated with the definition,prioritisationand deliveryof potentialprojects
• Possess a broad knowledge of available technical and business resources and use them to effectively coordinate teammembers and external resources

What you will need

• Over 5 years proven experience working either within IT or in a business system related role
• A sound understanding of BA methods, procedures,standardsand tools
• A basic understanding of key roles within an IT/Operationalorganisation and how they interact with the BA role
• Detailed knowledge of the software developmentand projectlifecycle
• Experience of managingseniorstakeholders within a project environment
• Confident to challenge and influence at all levels
• Systematic,disciplinedand analytical approach to problem solving
• Ability to transform complex information into clear and concise points
• Ability to work on your own initiative to tight deadlines and multiple priorities
• Ability to work unsupervised,but understand when to elevate issues to the benefit of the business
• Strong communicationand inter-personal skills
• Hold a valid driving licence and be willing to spend time away from your primary location.
